Project Task and Description

The project was created for a young woman who works a lot and enjoys inviting friends over for dinner. That’s why the first floor was designed as a fully open common area with its own bathroom — comfortable both for daily living and for hosting guests.

The second floor houses a private zone: a bedroom with an enlarged wardrobe, a separate bathroom with a laundry area, and a guest room that can also serve as a home office.

Initially, the client wanted a beige interior, but during the design process she realized she was drawn to a wine-colored palette. This became an important discovery — in her current apartment, this shade is already present, and it makes her feel comfortable. At our studio, we always encourage clients to “live” with a color before making the final decision, and this case perfectly confirmed that approach.

In the end, we decided not to use the wine color excessively, but rather as an accent that emphasizes the character of the interior.

This project is about balance — between energy and relaxation, openness and intimacy — with a touch of wine that makes the space truly her own.
